Area Attractions

The Grantsburg area presents many opportunities for recreation, sports and relaxation. We hope you will take advantage of as many of these opportunities as you can while you enjoy your stay at Smoland Prairie Homestead Inn.

Tours

You’re invited to tour this unique 18th Century Hand-Hewn Log Farm House. Swedes who immigrated from Smoland Prairie, a province in Sweden, built this Hand-Hewn Log House in 1869.

The logs go all the way to the second floor and all division walls are log also.

Many historical items are on display for you to see. You may rent this house to stay overnight or longer.
